I am currently in the process of blogging about all of my 2015 Sparkle Weddings. I wanted to kick it off with one of the most fun weddings we have done this year. Katie was a full on DIY bride. Her creativity was amazing, and I couldn’t wait to see what she had in store for the wedding day. She is proof that even if you are a DIY bride, you still need a wedding coordinator for the day of to make your vision come to life. To be honest with you, I was a bit nervous for this wedding. I wanted so badly to make her wedding dreams a reality, and the pressure was one because she had so many DIY items. The sign in table items, the bar, the centerpieces, even the toppers for the dessert bar were all handmade by Katie. The Sparkle Team also had the honor of arranging her bridesmaids bouquets and the centerpieces.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from the amazing Jessie Holloway Photography. The groom has an interest in photography, and is also really talented. Because of this, having a great photographer was high on their list of wedding priorities. Jessie has the kind of talent, that make you literally gasp and lose your breath while looking at her work. At least that’s how I reacted seeing these photos.
Their guests having a good time was also important to the bride and groom. Stephen Belk, of New Hope Entertainment, provided the best music and had everyone on the dance floor all night.
This was such a fun wedding and I was so grateful to be apart of this couple’s special day! Thank you to all the amazing vendors for making the wedding day prep fun as well!

I had to start with this shot. This arrangement was so much fun to create. The bride provided us a full bin of wedding fun to create something unique for this space. It is kind of in an awkward spot and is rather large, so there is no hiding it. Might as well make it pretty! I love all the vintage lamps and the unique bulbs. We added some flowers were we could, but wanted to make the focus the lighting. Not only did it help illuminate the space, but it provided a unique focal point for the venue.
My favorite part of my job is being able to see couples who are truly in love on one of the happiest days of their lives.
Such a fun bridal party! They were on the dance floor the entire night! Now for all the fun details that made this wedding so unique!
