Last week’s Friday’s Five was dedicated to the inspiration behind our Styled Photo shoot at Castle Pines Farm in Luray, TN. This week I wanted to give you guys a sneak peek at some behind the scenes shots from the shoot. Once we have our amazing photos back, I will create a blog post with those. I will go into full detail regarding my decision to have certain aspects of the shoot i.e. my reasoning behind the dresses, my makeup selections, flower choices, etc. For now, enjoy these iPhone snaps!
I love this image because it gives you just a glimpse of this gorgeous one of a kind venue. My cell phone pictures do not do this place justice. You just have to visit it in person to see how breathtaking it is. This area would be perfect for your outdoor reception.
Our inspiration, as mentioned in the previous post, came from the dark colors of fall and the richness of the gold color in the fall leaves. This photo of our tabelscape details the amazing flowers provided by Sand’s Florists and the creativity of our Design Coordinator Jennifer. I adore that you see our favorite photographers chatting it up with our handsome “groom.” It was a fun day indeed!
THIS DRESS. I cannot wait to see the professional photos that highlight the gorgeous details of this Watters ball gown (Camilla Gown (style 18836) provided by the ladies at Arzelle’s Bridal Boutique in Nashville. Check back soon for the thought process of choosing this stunning dress.
Being able to choose not one, but THREE gowns from Arzelle’s almost gave me a happy panic attack. I could shop for wedding and bridesmaids dress all day long. Once again, iPhone photos can’t express how truly stunning these ladies were. Kayla Scott of The Beauty Shop in Lexington, TN outdid herself with the hair and makeup.
To wrap up Friday’s Five is one of my favorite behind the scenes shots of the day. These 3 amazing people have been so supportive of the Southern Sparkle journey. The “bride” is also my cousin Nina. Nina is the woman behind our amazing logo. She is a Freelance Graphic Designer and extremely talented at what she does! Starla and Ian are my favorite photographers for many reasons. First, they shot my wedding, so I know how hard they work to capture the best shot. Secondly, have you seen their photos?! Stunning, breathtaking, and spectacular are just a few adjectives I would use to describe their work. Lastly, they have been strong supporters of Southern Sparkle and recommend us to their brides. We love working with Starla Photography.
Check back soon for the actual photos of the shoot! I am excited to see them and share all the vendors hard work into making the shoot an amazing success. Have a great weekend!
