I have an extreme adoration for fashion blogs. One of my favorite fashion blogs is Carrie Bradshaw Lied. I check Kathleen’s blog every.single.day. On Friday she participates in what she calls Friday’s Five. This inspired me to have my own wedding planner version of Friday’s Five.
Introducing Southern Sparkle’s First Ever Friday’s Five!
We are extremely excited that we are participating in a styled photo shoot with some pretty amazing vendors on Sunday. We are teaming up with our favorite photographer, Starla Photography, to capture some breathtaking photos at a new venue in West Tennessee. This venue is unique compared to most Tennessee venues. Castle Pines Farm – Home of Chestershire Castle , located in Luray, TN, is just that…a castle. The enchanting medieval setting has stone walls, draw bridge, battlement, gothic arches and towers set the tone for a gorgeous and unique wedding experience.

I am slightly obsessed with the dark cranberry colors in this bouquet. This image is what inspired me to have a full on fall photo shoot. The richness of the cranberry, the lush greens…I love it all. Looking forward to seeing what Mrs. Maxwell of Sand’s Florists has in store for us on Sunday!

I LOVE a boho bride. Bohemian brides seem so effortlessly chic. I wanted to capture that with not only the dress, but the makeup as well. My love for Arzelle’s bridal runs pretty deep. I purchased my amazing gown from the ladies at Arzelle’s in Nashville. We are teaming up with hair and makeup artist, Kayla Scott. The dark berry lip is a must have for fall. I think it takes a bold bride to pull this look off.

I have a slight obsession with naked cakes. I haven’t seen very many naked chocolate cakes, and I thought it would be PERFECT for our photo shoot. The team at Sweetly Ever After is certain to surprise us with a gorgeous and delicious cake. I am slightly eager to eat the cake after the shoot.

As you can tell from the Southern Sparkle Website, I love gold and sparkle (hence the name). The richness of the gold colors will tie perfectly with the darkness of the cranberry. Our design coordinator, Jennifer Parker, has pulled out all the stops to put my Fall Bohemian Styled Photo Shoot to life.
