Today’s post is about the fabulous time we had at The One Special Day Bridal Show that was held in Jackson, TN. My inspiration for the booth was actually our website and logo. I read a TON of articles and books about how to have a successful bridal show. The majority of them stated to have something consistent with your brand. The brand of Southern Sparkle is Sophisticated Southern Glamour with a splash of glitter. Or maybe an entire bucket of glitter really. Our design coordinator, Jennifer, totally outdid herself with this amazing booth.
We were so blessed to establish great relationships with some pretty amazing vendors. Sand’s Old Hickory provided us with the stunning flowers. Sweetly Ever After bakery hit the nail on the head with this dazzling gold polka-dot cake. Starla Photography’s photos consisted of around 90% of our booth. Kustom Vinyl Graphics created our marvelous logo signs. My talented friend Jessi Bewley created the unique chalkboard design for us as well.
I can honestly say that participating in the show was one of the best decisions. Getting the opportunity to meet so many wonderful brides and interacting with various wedding professionals made all our hard work worth it.
The talented Stephanie Benge of Stephanie Benge photography took some photos of our booth during setup as well as during the day of the show. We ADORE these photos! Brides, be sure to look for yourself in any of these shots!
We also gave brides the opportunity to sign up for a chance to win a Free Day Of Coordination package. We will be announcing the winner on our Facebook page on Sunday, January 18th.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy these photos! If we met you at the show, and you would like to setup a FREE consultation…be sure to contact us!
I’ll start this post with a few iPhone snaps! Including the before shot.
Sparkle Team’s Design Coordinator changing out the blue fabric for something a little more glamorous.
And here is the AFTER! I LOVED our booth! Our center table is actually the island from our Design Coordinator’s kitchen!
Our Southern Sparkle shirts were created by the lovely ladies at The Home Place in Lexington, TN. As the owner, I wanted to stand out a bit more. I thought this midi skirt from ChicWish added the perfect touch of Southern Style!
Also, check out the light fixture. Made by our design coordinator as well. I read from a few bridal show experts that you need something to draw your eye up. This one of a kind piece did just that. We had a ton of brides ask about it and where they could buy it.
My name is Krisy and I’m addicted to Kate Spade. How FAB are these shoes?! As I mentioned earlier, I read a ton of articles giving great tips for bridal shows. One of the tips was wear comfortable shoes. These shoes are the perfect combination of comfort and style. And they are covered in sparkle. Win-Win-Win!
Jennifer covered books, including phone books, in glitter wrapping paper.
My dear friend, Jessi, is quite talented with the chalkboard marker.
I just had to show off my Wedding Planning Certification.
I wanted the booth to be inviting and have a great sense of “home.” What better way to add this feeling than with some of my coffee table books?!
Notice the glitter candles? All made by our design coordinator. This unique linen received a TON of complements from bridal show guest. I love the added texture to the already gorgeous linen. I was SO excited and happy to see some of my marvelous #SparkleBrides. Including one that I booked at the show. Thank you sweet girls from swinging by our booth. And welcome to the Sparkle Club, Vicki!
We also had a #SparkleGroom, Brooks Shaw, swing by for the fun!
On that same note, how stunning are these two? This magazine was passed out to all the brides in their bridal show tote. So excited to be on #TeamShaw and The Wedding of The Year. We are so happy for this sweet couple!
Now for the professional photos. Stephanie captured all the little details we worked so hard on.
Here are a few action shots of the Sparkle Team hard at work.
Here are some of my favorite details. As I mentioned earlier, I wanted the booth to feel like home. I think mixed picture frames and candles make the space very inviting.
I wanted brides to see all the kind words from my previous brides right away.
Added little hints of sparkle to almost everything.
You can barely see it, but we also had two ghost chairs adorned with gold sequin pillow cases. I chose the ghost chairs so you would be able to see the sequin backdrop from almost every angle. One of my favorite frames featuring one of my favorite couples. They are a beautiful couple. Miss Pat Rench out of Scott’s Hill provided us with the vintage side tables. I love these so much, I want them in my house. Every square inch of the space had to represent the brand in some way. Even down to the ink pens.
Sweetly Ever After provided us with this gold sparkle polka dot cake! It looks so great against the gold backdrop. It smelled so good! I was dying to take a bite throughout the whole show.
Now the day of the show! We had such a great time interacting with the brides, their moms, bridesmaids, and even a few grooms!
This was such a sweet moment. One of my mother of the brides came and brought me this sweet gift. It was the missing puzzle piece to our booth. My aunt bought us two of these for our space. She searched for a third one, but couldn’t find it. Mrs. Seals showed up with this and I almost cried! So thoughtful. I loved it! Thank you so much!!
Here is a cell phone picture of where we put these sparkle signs.
Signing her contract to become a Sparkle Bride!
