Jen and I attended college together and we part of the same circle of friends. We were both involved in Greek Like and both social butterflies attending the same events and parties. When she reached out to me about her wedding day, I was extremely excited and honored to be part of her and Nathan’s wedding day. Their summer wedding at The Cordelle was filled with love, laughter and a heck of a good time.
“There is so much I could write about Krisy and Brooklyn. I should start by saying that I have been married before and did not hire a planner and had to deal with LOTS of mishaps on my wedding day. This time, I knew I didn’t want that, so I budgeted for a day-of coordinator. Krisy and I went to college together so we were connected via social media so I had long been seeing all the great things she was doing with her new(ish) business. When it came time to find a coordinator, she was my first call. Not only was she VERY reasonable compared to others I had seen, she was a month-of coordinator instead of just day-of, which allowed me to really enjoy those last few weeks before the wedding. She was extremely responsive, connected with all my vendors and was there for every little question (and freak out, sorry Krisy!) that I had leading up to the big day. When the day came, everyone in my bridal party commented on how great Krisy and Brooklyn were to work with as they had all been in weddings with the “evil wedding planner.” Krisy could not be farther from that. She is kind, doting and professional and we laughed a lot!
The true testament to her ability and greatness is that while my husband and I were leaving to head out of the country for our honeymoon, Krisy was waiting for our rentals vendor (think all the tables, chairs, etc.) to be picked up. The truck driver had been in an accident and Krisy was waiting and waiting for them to arrive and trying to contact them. When she was unable to, she located a contractor that had worked with our vendor to come pick up the items and all the while never called us because she didn’t want to stress us out. She did finally tell us about the hiccup the next morning, but she handled everything like the utmost professional and was never panicked or seemed stressed (even though, I’m sure she was at 2 am) I can’t sing her praises enough. Krisy and Brooklyn, I love you. Thank you for making our wedding day spectacular!” – Jen W.
