Happy Fourth of July from Southern Sparkle! We wanted to share not only our favorite sparkler exit photos, but also a few tips when shopping for your wedding day sparklers.
I LOVE sparkler exits, when they are done in a safe manner. If you are in the market for a sparklers, make sure you buy actual Wedding Sparklers. Yes, there is a big difference between wedding sparklers and sparklers from your favorite firework stand. Wedding sparklers are smokeless which results in those amazing photos you see below. The regular sparklers from firework stands are made of wood resulting in a smokey photo. Because they are made of wood, they are also a bit more dangerous. They burn much quicker and leave behind debris and a big mess.
Sparklers come in three different sizes: 10 inch, 20 inch and 36 inch. The 20 inch are my personal favorite. They are long enough to get lit for the guests and give you enough time to walk through and strike a pose. I have noticed the 36 inch are just a little too long and tend to burn long after you leave in the getaway car.
Wedding sparklers typically come in a case of 40 – 50. It’s not necessary to buy one for every single guest that attends. Just remember that typically by the end of the night, some of the guests have left. I suggest ordering between 20 – 40 less than your actual guest count. Unless you wanted a some leftover to help you celebrate the next 4th of July weekend.
Sparklers Online is our favorite source for wedding sparklers. They are based in Nashville therefore shipping is so fast if you are in Tennessee. They are bright, last for a long time for photos and are a good price!
