Krisy Thomas
I'm Krisy Thomas, Owner and Master Certified Wedding Planner with Southern Sparkle, as well as Vice President and Certified Educator with The Certified Wedding Planner Society, the world's leading wedding planning certification program. I was also named 2016 Wedding Planner of the Year. I am extremely passionate about celebrating all your life’s events, especially your wedding! I dedicate myself to you. I genuinely want you to focus on the joy of getting married.

As your wedding planner, I consider YOU to be my number one priority—I can promise that your wedding will be planned with grace and kindness, keeping you at the forefront of your beautiful event. I will also ensure that you are taken care of every step of the way, and that your needs and expectations are met. I pride myself in working to make sure that both the wedding planning process AND the wedding day are incredible, memorable experiences.

Fun facts: Among many other things, I love champagne, all things that sparkle, The Golden Girls, spending time with family, and being inspired by the people I surround myself with. I am blessed with a loving husband, and quite possibly the cutest boys in the world, Jameson and Cortland! Alexandria Chaney
Certified Wedding Planner
Alexandria is not new to the world of special events! She’s been part of the Southern Sparkle Team for over five years where she serves as the Associate Planner and Social Event Planner! She is also a Certified Wedding Planner through The Certified Wedding Planner Society, the nations leading wedding certification company. She was the former Assistant Manager at Fun Zone Amusements for 4 years where she was in charge of coordinating events, decorating for parties and a leader of party hosting. She has also worked in the area of event catering, organizational management, and exclusive party hosting.
Alexandria loves being in an industry that celebrates moments of happiness and love for others. With her detail- oriented eye and great work ethic, she makes a great addition as our Jackson/West Tennessee Associate Planner.
Denitra Barnes
Certified Wedding Planner
Denitra Barnes is a Certified Wedding Planner through The Certified Wedding Planner Society, the nation’s leading wedding planning certification program. She is a Memphis native and a graduate of Belhaven University. She holds an MBA in Human Resources and Organizational Leadership. She loves creating moments of magic for our clients here at Southern Sparkle. Whether it’s a life event such as: weddings, surprise proposals, anniversaries, showers, or milestone celebrations bringing smiles, organization, and a significant amount of sparkle dust to each occasion is her mission.
